Appeal: 170-home scheme’s footpaths would not adhere to desire lines

Reserved matters approval for 170 homes on the edge of Weymouth sought three years ago has been refused by an inspector, who ruled that the scheme’s footpath layout was ‘unnecessarily circuitous’ and did not adhere to natural desire lines.
