Appeal: 14,200 solar panels approved for Kidderminster site


TCG Renewables Ltd has been granted permission for a solar park comprising 14,200 ground-mounted solar panels and associated works in Neen Sollars, Kidderminster, after an inspector determined that the development would not greatly adversely harm the character of the landscape or the setting of local heritage assets.

Inspector Brian Cook noted that the landscape within which the appeal site sits is framed within the sides of a valley and by existing woodland. He posited that the appeal site itself, composed of two fields, forms a very small part of this area.
